MAKING A PURCHASE
Purchasing spare parts could not be easier. Just browse our parts catalogue, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Please log in if you are a previous customer, or register if it your first time.
We accept credit card payments with Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Switch, Visa Electron and Solo cards through a secure server using 128-bit encryption. Information is not decrypted until stored on our database. If you would prefer to pay by phone, please call 01889 561500
We also accept payment by cheque. All cheques should be made out to "Trenchex Power Products Ltd". You should allow 10 working days for cheques to clear, after which the goods will be dispatched (subject to stock availability).
You have the right to cancel any order. The Cancellation Period begins from the day on which the contract for the supply of goods is concluded (i.e. the day of purchase). The Cancellation Period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. Goods must be returned in an unused state, and in their original packaging. The consumer is liable to pay for the cost of returning the goods to ourselves. We will return your money, less the cost of delivery, within 30 days of notice of cancellation (i.e. 30 days from the date the invoice was posted or given). This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
1. We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; or
2. One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
3. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail or telephone and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Postage And Handling
Postage charges are clearly identified. You may choose standard or express delivery. Goods should be inspected before they are signed for. Goods should be REFUSED if they are obviously seriously damaged in transit. You must notify us via email within 24 hours if your goods are subsequently found to be damaged.
Delivery Schedule Purchasing from us
To purchase from us you must be over 18.
By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers). We will not use your details for other purposes without asking your consent and you may ask that your details are removed from our system by writing to the address above.
We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have taken full payment and confirmed acceptance of your order. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the goods ordered.
All prices and offers are subject to change and availability. With the exception of subject to not selling below our cost price.
Allow ten working days for cheque clearance.
Most items are kept in stock, and therefore we aim to deliver your order right away. You should normally expect to receive your order well within 5 business days (Normally Next Day) - however it may take longer if items are out of stock. See Back Orders below:
*Please note that whilst we try to ensure deliveries, collection run as smooth as possible, we cannot guarantee or be held responsible for non delivery or collections of items on a particular day. Normal Royal Mail delivery rules apply.
Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expense (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you and that will be identified in your shopping basket.You can decide at this stage not to proceed or telephone to check the estimated delivery date on 01889 565155.
Non Stocking Special Order Item. If the product is ordered incorrectly by the customer and they choose to return there will be a 20% re-stocking fee due to us returning this to our supplier.
Tax Charges All order prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
Guarantee All products come with manufacturer’s warranty of 3 months subject to domestic use. For commercial warranty conditions please call. 01889 565155
In the unlikely event that your replacement spare part develops a fault within the warranty period, Trenchex will replace it without charge and arrange for its delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
